Yes,there is a lot simpler way.
Create a Region type variable.
Then do this...
  • EnableVision
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Set Map_Playable = (Playable map area)
      • Visibility - Create an initially Enabled visibility modifier for Player 1 (Red) emitting Visibility across Map_Playable
Just put in the variable the region you want and change the player for whom you desire the vision to be enabled.
