yes,I refer to some games and movies for this model.The first picture is adapted from a movie, which makes people look like kings, but it doesn't conform to history.The second picture is more historical,Many movies and games have adapted the real historical situation.this helmets with facial chains, Byzantine Empire and Kiev Ross also have such helmets.

I think the paladin's shoulder armor in the game is still very nice.The shoulder armor of other units is not easy to evaluate.

the rough iron texture and the cartoon-like shape makes all those shoulder armor looks very plastic-like , IDK why blizzard still keep this kind of art style in 2018

The quality and texture of the original game really have a strange feeling, so I have been using mod.Quenched mod

I think the size of the horn on the helmet should be proportional to the size of the helmet,This is more reasonable.If the proportion is unbalanced, it may not look good.Vikings are pirates in Northern Europe, English words are the same, and most people have the same impression.So it's hard to distinguish it from bandit.
