A dark shadow looms over the world of video games. It's up to your favorite game characters to team up and find out what evil plagues their worlds.

Play as various gaming icons such as Mario, Cloud, Link, Samus, Kirby, Master Chief, MegaMan X, and many more...!

Fixed a camera error on the Northern Crater
Fixed Nova Strike and Charge Shot having the same spell base
Mario & Luigi both have had major changes done to them.
Pikachu's Agility Bonus is now boosted by the Light Ball.

Pipe of the Thinker has been slightly nerfed.
Sub-Zero's Animality - Polar Bear cd has been adjusted.
Pikachu has some new items.
When the Game ends, it will show the Scores now.
Megaman's Capsule no longer bugs if you get a Capsule after one you were supposed to get beforehand. You are now required to get Capsules in an orderly fashion.
Vile's Ride Armor form no longer bugs when he uses Hydraulic Punch.
Bizarro Sephiroth no longer spams an instant-kill move that is the result of a glitch occurring when he's below a certain life percentage.
Ganondorf has been buffed slightly
Some Skulltulas' Locations have changed
Stone of Agony does what it say it does
Skulltula Prize set at 60 changed slightly
Lasers now fire when the Fortress explodes.
Samus's Gravity Suit no longer provides Spell Immunity.

Goku's Super Saiyan form is now triggered and no longer wastes an item slot. In addition, his Saiyan Forms increase his stats by a percentage, rather than a static value
Goku's Transformation spell can now be used multiple times to shift forms instead of always jumping to his highest form. His forms will have energy usage based on the ability level, with some forms having no energy usage by max level. In addition, he can use Revert to downshift through forms
Goku's hotkeys have been changed to their former values
Velguarder cannot glitch out anymore
Nerfed Vile's laser attack and slightly reduced duration of his fire trail. In his 3rd phase, he will dash less frequently
Zero Nightmare's laser is a lot trickier to dodge now
Sigma now has several new abilities
Kamehameha now has new sounds, and a shorter duration
The patrons of Tifa's Bar are now neutral units

Reworked how X's Charge Shot works, increased the damage after he gains the Buster Upgrade, and while in the Ultimate Armor X's Charge Shot is stronger
Increased and decreased some of Cloud's Limit Breaks damage depending on the skill
Changed spell bases of certain spells for Cloud to fix problems with skills overlapping

11:12, 29th Dec 2008 Rui: I have played it, and I guess the game is a kind of Warchasers, except it has this anime theme. Very good idea. I'd consider rebalancing a few heroes and especially the items. Knuckles gets Divine armor with the Super...

Bugs found:
When you play Magus and use his ultimate (Pandaren's ultimate) you can use 1 of the elements to get the Riding armor and when the spell end you can control the armor and Magus

The time for Sephiroth's quest is too damn low. If I use whosyourdaddy and play with Cloud when I get to the boss I have 1 minute to fight him. Its impossible

Hallo quest bugs if you use teleportation skill

When Kamek uses teleportation skill somethimes bugs

Potions should stack in charges like in Dota if you know what I mean.

I rate the RPG 5/5 because its too damn awesome, but full of bugs and imbalance. Ok I'm looking forward for the new version

Mwa mwa mwa! here I come to give another earful of comments, bugs (if I found some) and suggestions!

Samus: As far as I can tell she was probably the imbaest of them all, cause the phaser beam was overly super effective and that missile thing was more barragy than I anticipated. The charge shot failed to work on every occasion I used it...she'd charge up...then nothing would happen. -.- The zero lazer although a good enough charge time and a legendary look to it was imba beyond comprehension cause I one moved Jenova and Sephiroth along with the four weapons (Diamond, ruby, emerald and ultimate) without fail...but I think ultimate survived but only on a mm of HP in which case I just speed boosted him or gave him the missiles and it died a horrible cheap death... As for the speed booster I was expecting it to kinda be like mario's starman and allow her to run back and forth fastly and deal small amounts of damage each time I ran though them... As for appearances I was hoping for a charging animation like what was done for the Kamehameha except instead it just came out after about 5 seconds and made my jaw drop the first time I used it. But other than that it obviously served it's purpose to completely obliterate bosses flawlessly...

Goku: I had a couple of sweatdrops coming down when I first used his moves... The spirit bomb charges up to be roughly the size of the screen and explodes like it's suppose to...and if in a CG animation probably taking out half the damn planet at the sametime at full charge -.- cause that explosion made the ground shoot up and cover the screen in white for nearly 5 or more secs... And I like the way you can release it early if you have too which is good. Kamehameha was practically a toned down Zero lazer with the charge up animation, because althought only a fraction of the damage it was a good thing to use. Kaoken and super saiyan worked fine to my knowledge, dragon fist and everything on his was neatly done so I got no more input for him.

Sonic:
...Summed up in one sentence...just like on brawl when he goes super sonic... "I'M TOO CHEAP!" lol.... it's good that way though, but I half expected him to be able to fly and have some sort of perma-immolation which allowed him to run through enemies and deal damage rather than have a machinegun speed punch which hit them like 10 times a second for chaos damage... So could I suggest you make him a fake flyer? AKA you make him airborne except he can't really fly over walls and such (if that's even possible) and make him move faster and be able to deal damage on touch rather than comboing them to oblivion with super fast chaos attack damage. The Divine armor also comes in handy while you've got Sigma's S-blade cause they can't hurt you while you're easily stealing their HP. The "Continue?!" Power comes back infinitely cheap when fully upgraded and the spin dash looks awesome and deals imba enough damage when upgraded and even in early stages. The Tornado was fine but perhaps make it stun for longer each time so you can keep things at bay with it. The "somersault" was disappointing cause he didn't even jump, but I'm guessing that it was cause there wasn't enough animations but it served it's purpose once again.

Kirby: Kirby was fun to use with his inhale power and such. I was hoping final cutter would make him jump atleast to make it really look final cutter like...but he didn't.
Hammer was good except the fact it puts them on fire and sometimes doesn't stun them (if thats what it's suppose to do).
Rockform... I was thinking this would kinda be like a gargoyle rockform which gives him massively extra armor and just allows him to sit there for sometime to recover his HP for a bit (not too long thought or it'd be easily spammed up) but it worked well the way it was because I regained some HP when I came out of it eventually.
Inhale came through super effectively with me eating the bosses to finish them, and practically all the other times I was completely massed giving me a heap of stat bonuses and I think it should stay that way, but I was hoping that he'd have a standard power which is a bit like the devour attack because that's rather kirby like, and if the unit dies he swallows it and gains a bit of HP back. Or better yet if you eat an enemy in that way you can copy a power from them if they've got any. EG, maybe if you eat a theif or brigand you can get a steal power of some sort where you take money or random items out of them. Just a little something to make it more kirby sounding... and obviously if you want to eat a different enemy you can click a button and he'll lose the power... And I won't comment on warpstar except the fact it lacked the explosion for where he comes down with the star and it's a little overly big of a splash radius for my liking. Could I suggest using the Dragoon? XD if that would be possible to recreate using the models you have at your disposal.

Mario: He was rather well rounded except like I see most of the time with prolonged missiles barrage style moves after a certain point in time it just ceases to deal damage anymore...is this cause there is a max damage it can deal or that there's a duration of the damage like the original one? I was also wanting to suggest that this be like mario's final smash from brawl? the mario finale which would work like a shockwave or beam and fly through the enemies dealing burn damage overtime.
Jump attack would miss if the enemy ran off, in which case they would cause it makes you invulnerable till you come down...
Fireball came in handy but what's the range of it? cause whenever I tried to use it he'd have to go up in their face to use it.
Starman was super effective for taking out a massive load of enemies at once, and I never got to using super mushy cause I'm just guessing it's like using avatar cause the icon was unchanged and that's the way it sounded to go anyways.

Zero: Zero was rather well rounded, with the rising slash being fun to use, charge attack being a nice finisher (except the fact Omega Zero finished ME with it on occasion aswell -.-) because of it's huge damage.
The buster became a somewhat spam fest once my MP raised fast enough cause it's fly through a heap dealing damage to all of them. What I hoped it to be was a long range projectile move like mario's fireballs which you could use from longrange rather than a tiny bullet shot thing which would fly through numerous targets and when later upgraded high enough, killing most of them off.
Ultimate form was good, because to attack speed bonus was exactly what you needed to pwn the bosses, except may I suggest giving him some extra special effect attachments while like that to make him look a little different?

Cloud: Braver came nicely and I got nothing to add to it.
Cross slash... Was that meant to blank out the screen so I can't see anything while using it, or is that a glitch?
Meteor rain was good except maybe make it a small radius but more damage.
Omnislash was a bit dodgy... Although the teleporting worked on most occasions it would hardly deal enough damage to make a difference, or in that cause not deal damage at all seemingly and unlike the real omni-slash there were hardly any hits to it. so perhaps look into that...

The Stage and other suggestions:
something I always find a hassle with this is that there are never enough inventory slots! so I want to suggest that you'd have some sort of mini inventory like on some of the final fantasy RPGs. You'd have like a little room with a couple of boxes or something were you can store surplus items.
I also noticed that in the stage there was hardly any things to increase you MP if you were running on bugger all. So may I suggest having a type of mushroom or random drop so that you can have MP power-ups on the field aswell?
The Terrain was fine, althought I never had the patience to play through the whole thing cause I wanted to test some favourite characters...

Character suggestions:

Maybe I suggest adding Metaknight in? There's a model somewhere of him that I've seen... As far as moves go, I'd say one of them would have to be dimension cape which would allow him to teleport to a point nearby (not overwalls or boundaries) and do an small area of effect slash. Another could be an airstrike from the Halberd perhaps? His ultimate would have to galaxia darkness though, I've got no doubt about it. which would probably make him invulnerable before he capes an enemy it fades out to black before the screen goes white a slash goes through it and enemies around the initial target take big damage while the target takes MASSIVE damage...and observe my emphasis of massive. ;)
Or perhaps someone from fire emblem like marth etc if there's a model present somewhere for any of them. but at any rate I've waffled enough (about half hour to type this so that's more than enough) thanks for listening.... if you do. -.-

All of the music will be used thoroughly in the upcoming versions. Character models tend to use up more space, as well. Also, Metaknight? Marth? This isn't Smash Bros. RPG :p

First you must find out the code by completing the map on any difficulty.
Then you must type the code given.
Finally after typing the code you must go though the flames, and follow the path till you see the secret character.


It's pretty simple.

hey so

you get the same code for beating it with every difficulty, and the reward isn't any better for doing any better.

could you maybe have a different secret per difficulty or have to type in a different code depending on which difficulty you choose?

hey Tatsuma,i gt a few question,when i used Goku,i died in the Final Fantasy World getting killed by the Ultimate Weapon but den because of the 2nd chance,i revived but den y is dere Empty slots on the ground?and 2ndly,is dere even SS4 Goku in the game?by using transform i could only get up to super saiyan 3,and i would like to say is increase the duration and decrease the dmg by a bit for spirit bomb,because by using Goku,u can easily kill every boss with 1 Spirit bomb,lastly,can u increase the bosses difficulty???its quite easy to kill a boss with 5 ppl

The Empty Slot thing was because you reverted while dead, since it switches the super saiyan item out with it. But if your dead it kinda can't do that.

No their is no SS4 in this map anymore, for balance reasons.

Don't worry Spirit Bomb is being dealt with, just in this version Wumpus and I changed it's damage type to Universal from Spell, so it dealt full damage to anything.

We're working on the Bosses, scripting them so they can scale with the difficulty players set and the amount of players playing.

How is the map anime based? The only thing from Anime is Goku. The map is based off VIDEO GAMES, hence the name.

Tatsuma, We Should Vote if we need to remove Unnessary Music.

For example, The Beggining of the LTTP Sound, Master sword, etc.

Way a head of you. Master sword song was removed a long time ago.

Edit: From the looks of it, you'll need a good connect to play this version. People with slow connections seem to lag badly. Though it doesn't effect both wumpus and my computers.

Same thing for me, something is terribly wrong, only 1-2min into the game and i can barely quit since it's slowed down so much (this was solo btw)

Tried it again since you mentioned difficulty, and sure enough, when i selected normal i had no lag whatsoever, so the problem lies in easy difficulty..

tatsuma, i have just completed normal mode of 1.9d and i loved it!

sonic's ult broke early in the game

is the dog supposed to jump over the river and heal at the fountain in the megaman level?

lasers are great! xD confusing at first for some.

zero was way too hard, though i like the concept.

got the secret sword and secret shield from those two bosses, but couldn't find the others.

can you have a warning display as soon as the training starts as to what level they stop you at? would be nice to know when you are gonna get kicked out and how much time you should buy.

as i said before, more levels for abilities!! please!

i was lvl 93 at the end of the halo level, so i had nothing to look forward to.
someone in the game suggested a super ability pop up at lvl 100.

the game took us (originally full, became 6 players around final fantasy world) 3 and a half hours. tooooo longgggg. lol we did spend a LOT of time on those extra bosses, but even 2 and a half hours is a long time. and there is nothing keeping you going until the very last few bosses where you get that "almost almost almost" feeling.

however, completing the game always gives me a sense of accomplishment.

maybe you could make a separate version that is much shorter? kind of like an introduction to the other one for new players. you could be like "if you can play through this and enjoy it you should try, VideoGame RPG!"

okay i know this debate has been on for a while but i just want to add my word in:
should goku be in videogame rpg?
as an anime character first, i believe he has no place in this game
yes, there are many games, and yes, they are quite good.
but he does not compare to other videogame characters.
he is not as much of a videogame char as sonic, mario, samus, so on.

anyways i'm sorry if it sounds like i'm telling you how to do your job, i only mean for these to be suggestions and/or pointing things out you may have missed.

I played this so many years ago, and still I only bother myself on some places.
Dat is the terrain.
It should look more like you are on that world.
Like when you are in mushroom kingdom, it looks just like a forest which is abit boring.
(Yes, I know that there are forests in the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario overall, but still)

Strange it should allow you to pass, can you send me a replay? That way I can see what happen for myself and fix the problem.

Edit: So nobody is worried it wasn't a bug, he just killed Vile with Cheat Codes which messes up part of the triggers.

I had a glitch, when fighting in megaman land, after vanguard, you get to the next mini boss, he floats up into the air, and then he continues to go south past the closed door.

vile problem

I had the same vile problem but wasn't using cheat codes. I had a lvl 60 Vivi though and just flare'd him once and he died. The electric fence didn't disable after that. I did kill Vile before destroying electric generators if that makes a difference with the triggers. Awesome game btw. You need more items for other characters cuz chars like link have way too many while Vivi got none, at least up till Sigmas

another sigma problem

Triggers messed up on me again =/ This time Velguarder didn't hop back over after healing the first time. I was megaman, just shot him normally nothing special.

I had lvl 60 vivi by doing Deku Tree solo, every 3 kills or so I got a lvl up

jus wondering cuz the person in question came up with that idea a long time ago and made an awesome version of this map which he didn't complete, but one of the things i remember from that map is a cannon u gotta go through

i know him and he has a tendacy to talk about that map and mention that part alot, ALOT

if u did get the idea from him (or someone who gave you that idea got it from him) maybe he should get credited? not that he revels in recognition or whatever... but i thought if its where u got it, it only seems right
