Variable arrays can't be set?

Array size is entirely irrelevant in most situations (you can access the whole array regardless of its listed size), so you can probably just ignore it. The only scenarios I am aware of are pre-allocating unit/player groups so that you can directly add to them instead of having to initialize each index before adding units (same logic for players).
