An "upload progress bar " for the resource sections or the forum?

The former may indeed be included when Ralle finalizes and releases the new resource sections (no promises though). The latter might require a substantial modification of the vBulletin shell: once again, only the Chieftain himself can do that and it could be rather tricky.

Indeed: attachment uploads are (more or less) "blind" in IE. If your connection provides a good transfer rate, most uploads should be smooth and relatively quick. If you are stuck with 56k, you'll need extra patience.

As stated earlier, only Ralle could implement such a feature. We'll just have to wait to hear what he has to say about it.

Exactly my problem, also I sometimes forget to change sizes on pictures or convert them to jpeg or other format that works, and it takes forever for it to end up not working, I was wondering if you tried uploading something that is the wrong file if it could pop up right away, and say you cannot upload it rather than waiting forever for it to not work

From what I understand, it may be possible to create such a feature, but it would be bugged: existing "upload progress scripts" measure activity site-wide, not for any specific user or thread.

Ralle or Samuraid might provide details and indicate if any modifications could be made to apply or implement an upload progress indicator here at our Hive.

For my own part, no problems: uploads are usually smooth and speedy.
