uploading models

We're allowed to upload other people's maps, so just put the author's name in and walla!

however what about .rar files, and what if the model uses a skin, and have icons aswell included?

Anything associted with the model should be included in the .rar file. That includes icons, skins and whatever else it have of custom stuff.

would be good. if you are going to upload anyone elses models though: steal olaf molemans best models on all of battle.net hands down. the level of detail he puts into them is insane. you can find them on wc3sear.ch, he has a ton for starwars and he's started making some for lord of the rings, the lord of the rings ones are especially detailed and nice as he actually creates immensely sized buildings (orthanc, the dark tower etc) but puts a load of detail into them. a necessity for any mapmaker trying to make a starwars or lord of the rings map. actually, if you see ANY starwars models on battle.net its most likely that they are by olaf moleman. Hardly anyone gives him credit, and if they do its usually to wc3sear.ch instead of him. Starwars Footies, Starwars Maul etc etc all use his models. But i'm all for it, it gives people access to awesome custom models that they can use to improve their maps. yet anothe reason to visit the hive site

gladly friend do you mind if I upload them in packs of models (like several similar models in a .rar archive? He has a lot of them, so it would be easier and faster.

Like I can JASS? I am working on trying to learn it.. I have made ONE script so far, it's function is to break World Editor.. :S Well that's not the mainfunction but I cant make it do anything else...
