I am pretty sure they are holding back for BlizzCon.

I mean, you aren't the only one who has gotten concerned due to the lack of any news.
But the closer we get to BlizzCon (which is now less than a month away), the more it makes sense for them to show everything there, which is why I wouldn't expect anything before then.
I was personally expecting an update that shows their current progress sometime in the summer so that it would be kinda in the middle between the initial announcement (last November) and the upcoming BlizzCon (this November) where we all knew would be news anyways. But that didn't happen. So, I guess we just have to wait and see.
