Basically, a "Record Actions" button that indexes the order and a timestamp of every order that goes out throughout an individual test. The Order will be indexed, and the target unit and the point of the target unit or point of the order separately. If the target unit does not exist anymore, issue the order at the indexed point. If the ability is specifically unit-target only, it would probably be best they do nothing. Once you hit restart, the recorded orders will be executed through a Play button at the indexed timestamp. The timestamp will be compared with an integer variable that sets back to 0 once the restart button is pressed and goes up by 1 every millisecond, or shorter time measure if necessary.

And the purpose of this would be?

The purpose would be so you can have more accurate, though probably still not perfect, micro situations so you can get a better idea on the balance of units for standard SC2 or for your mod. It could also potentially be used to teach people how to micro. Someone who's really good at micro can bring in their friends and show them in a really non-competitive environment what to and not to do in micro situations by using this record feature to put them against micro techniques until they can reliably do something about it.

This would also be really useful for practicing as Zerg vs Terran splits, and also setting up more realistic scenarios like one where a Terran army that involves Tanks, Widow Mines, or Liberators isn't quite deployed yet so you have a moment to abuse. Or really just any other micro scenarios you need to practice.
