I made a unit have an upgrade required before you could buy it, yet without the upgrade I could still buy it. It is being sold by a neutral passive. I want it to not be purchasable until 9 rounds have passed, so on the 10th round it is available for purchase, yet its not working. Any ideas?
 
well you could add dummy item with instant use with no abillity and when 10 round stats you could swap that item with unit

Smt like that ..
But then you need to start counting waves or smt..
 
no you add Dummyitem and write in description that if you want to buy this unit you have to wait until wave 10, but you can still make it grayed if you make Dummyitem icon as your units disable icon
 
Okay well i don't see a disable icon, and I am still able to make the unit, anyway I can make it unclickable so they dont create a random invis unit?
 
I made test map you can try this but disabled icon still turns green (i think you will need to create your own disabled icons for disabled unit icon(if you dont know how to do that i could do that for you if you want)).
Or maybe you could wait for someone else who knows more about this stuff tell you what to do.

what do you mean?

if you are asking how did i got disabled icon then you have to add some extra words to that custom text. Custom.JPG
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNKnight.blp = normal icon
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNKnight.blp = disabled icon.

Well im newbie with editor like you :wink: maybe someone more addvanced with this could tell you how to make it your way (with upgrades)

go to trigger editior select any trigger rigth click on your trigger and click "copy as text" then go forum and write [TRIGGER] Paste your trigger here [/TRIGGER]
