Unit detection

Whenever i have camera turned by 90° so you see trees like this:
/\
/ \
/ \
||

What cursor detects if i have units like this (ogres below) infront of camera (same X, different Y, different Z)
:ogre_haosis::ogre_frown::ogre_haosis:
:ogre_frown::vw_wtf::ogre_frown:
:ogre_haosis::ogre_frown::ogre_haosis:

will it detect every unit or only units with biggest Z?

The smilies annoy, don't help the question and confuse the reader.

Furthermore, you ask, "what mouse detects", the mouse/cursor can't detect andthing in wc3.
If you wan't to check if there is a tree in front of the camera, the mouse has nothing to do with it.
