there are a lot of stuffs in the tutorial section...

explore the world editor >>> http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...ials-278/world-editor-faq-work-progress-7239/ and http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/general-mapping-tutorials-278/we-map-editor-newbies-126841/

learn basic triggering >>> http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/trigger-gui-editor-tutorials-279/basic-triggering-5885/ and http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/trigger-gui-editor-tutorials-279/basics-triggers-32113/

but the most important part is that you MUST have patience and have a will to learn, if not then there's no point in reading those that I've mentioned...

Wisdom at its Finest. . .

Anyway I feel that I should add, july louis, that you shouldn't try editing other maps to learn. Start your own project and try to be as independant as possible in order to learn to be able to improvise and figure things out on your own, even if your solutions are not as good as other people's, chances are once you get in the mode if you truly wish to pursue map making you will have no desire to release a map until you have redone everything so many times that it seems you have made something completely different.

And never look at doing something again as a bad thing, like redoing part of a map. If you've already done it then it should be easy to do it again because you know exactly what to do.

I hope this was helpful.
