Unable to load a game in warcraft 3 but is able to run on world editor

When I load a map which i just downloaded , I'm able to load it on World Editor but not Warcraft 3 . When i Click on the Test Map button on the World Editor , they would load the menu of Warcraft 3.

My World Editor runs on 1.24e(6059) while Warcraft 3 runs on 1.24.4.6481 [which I'm pretty sure that its trying to say that its 1.24e , unless I'm wrong]

I cant seem to patch my Warcraft 3 to 1.26a either..

Did the name of the map was long?
About more than 20 char'?
If yes, shorten the name of the map

It can also be a map created before 1.24 patch, lot of thing changed since and this make some map impossible to play.

more than that, if the name of folder was long then you cannot view any maps in the folder, or in subfolders. i discovered this last week.

We can not help you until you patch to the lattest version of WC3. This is so that results can be consistant.

Most new maps will not work on older versions of WarCraft III due to major changes that were done in patches (such as the introduction of hashtables and assisting functions).

have you even tried opening it directly on wc3 instead of using test map button?
