Unable to get Key for Hashtable in NewGenWE.

So I was doing some triggers with Hashtables for the first time in my life. And having gotten into the whole hashtable thing rather late, I was just starting to learn about it. Looked at existing spells etc.

I then started making 1 of my own, starting simple. But as I am starting to construct my trigger, I noticed a small problem. I can't seem to assign keys to units or destructibles. Watch:

I thought it might be something wrong with my WE, so I tried doing something with vanilla WE (no additions, original WE). And it WORKS. I get all the normal menu like "event response - target destructible of spell cast" and all the rest of that shit.

But back in NewGenWE, all of that is... gone. Can anyone tell me wtf is going on? Thanks.

its always that way.. in the patch where they introduced hashtables, they edtited the main .exe so it could do that but jngp hasnt been updated since.

  • Custom script: set udg_integerVariable = GetHandleId(*something*)

Yeah, JNPG doesn't have that. You can use what Maker said, or create the trigger in normal WE and copy it to JNPG.

Alright, so copying the trigger from WE will work then? Aside from using the custom script like what Maker did? Thanks a bunch, guys.
