Txt to MDL

I have my code, So i can make my first model, and Its an Attachment model. and its, BOOTS! really low polly boots . But, I put my code in Notepad. And my dumb self cannot figure out how to Friggen Convert TXT to MDL I did a tutorial form the helper, But it just said, "conver txt to MDL then MDL to MDX!" and i dont even know what the **** to press to convert it from Txt to MDL and its so infuriating. ANyone want to help?

You dont need any tools to convert a .txt to .mdl
ie.

Boots.txt
rename it to:
Boots.mdl


You will need a tool to convert .mdl to .mdx

I did, But it just came out Boots.mdl.txt

But i have everything else.

you need to change setting in windows for that then.

open the txt. open a mdl, cnp the txt content over all the mdl data and save.

I tryed editing an MDL but i had to Convert it to txt again to edit it, But it still was txt when i tryed to edit it back to an mdl
