Twinkies!

that oh so delicious treat, the pinnacle of processed food, gone!!!

for those of you who don't know, hostess has gone out of business and Twinkies are no longer being manufactured and may never again be manufactured.

I am not sure if this is good or bad news, i just wanted to create a thread for people to share their views on this tragic news.

Where were these sold, apart from the US? Never saw one in my life, though I've certainly heard of them.

I prefer offer desserts than twinkies and I think I never had one before.

apart from all of the people who lost their jobs at twinkies this is not a big deal due to the amount and variety of other junk foods available

The fact the company went out of business shows how poor the products they were making must have been.

Given the scandal going on right now about their employees' pension money being stolen, the only sad thing about this is that it only happened now and not earlier.

(Also, homemade desserts are the way to go!)
