Troll Smash

Troll Smash is a hero arena type of map for Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne. All you need to do is to defeat your enemies according to the game mode you have choosen.
During the invasion of the darklord in Lordaeron, many tolls died and still many were left homeless. These inhabitants fleed and looked for another place to live where they could do whatever they want. At last, they have found one. During their stay, they lived peacefully and sworn to defend the land for freedom. Things changed when gnolls came and destroy their homes. There were havocs and claims of any parcel of land, small or huge. Trolls became egocentric and would like to own every land they could see. Now, you, as a Forest Troll, should conquer the land and make it as your own. Defeat every trolls you see. Wipe them all out. There are few gnolls inhabiting the land, be watchful.

Game Mode

Kill All In this game mode, you are to select the number of deaths a hero will respawn. There are options that you can select, 1.) Deathmatch (no respawn), 2.) Five Deaths, 3.) 15 deaths, and 4.) 20 deaths. These means that if you select any of the choices you will only be revived according to it if the maximum number of death is reached, you are eliminated from the game.

Deathmatch In this mode, you will be eliminated if the number of deaths is reached.

Kills Count In kill count mode, there is no elimination of heroes that is implemented. The chosen leader will select how many times a player will kill to win.

Game Commands

B. Commands
The game has only two type-able commands: 1. “-players”, if you want to know how many players are in the game; 2. “-ping”, to where your enemies are.
v1.00 - 1.01 - first release

v1.02 many has changed:
1. created many hero changes and added more heroes
2. Adds game modes

version 2.00 Change logs
There is a lot of changes in this version:
1. Lower the number of players to 8 because of an issue that wasn't resolved in the last versions.
2. Terrain has been enhanced adding more doodads, raising and lowering terrains, etc.
3. Adds more data in the multiboard including the status of the player whether his hero is dead/reviving, playing, or eliminated.
You can see more changes in the multiboard if you play the map.
4. You can now buy back your hero in the guardian stone.
5. The guardian stone is where you can go if you're at the critical stage, you are safe there. It heals mana and life.
6. Respawning time has been changed to 5*Level of the dying hero.
7. Trigger for reviving a hero has also been changed to make everything go smooth.
8. The three merchants in the center of the map is now unguarded.
9. More neutral hostile units are added.
10. Now using a custom loading screen and map preview, thanks to Blizzard Entertainment for the images I used.
11. See more changes in the next versions. I am planning to add more items and heroes to choose from.

2. Edits heroes move speed. Sets Base Speed Movement to 320 and Attack cooldown to 1.30

Nice idea with the troll thing there are not many troll maps these days.The only thing I can say now since there is really no screenshots maybe you should use some imported things.

Indeed. The spells could be improved. In fact, you can even change everything just to make it look unique. Why are the four spells not connected to one another? They're like four different genres mixed together. Blink could be changed to Jump. Troll Stone, well, it's quite normal for trolls but you could rename it to Throwll Stone if you want to. Life Drain seems like a spell used by mages, so I suggest changing it to something like a life steal that can be activated. And lastly, Mountain Form. It really is out of place. It could be changed however to something like Avatar where the troll becomes bigger and stronger, a mountain giant-like troll.

The map is simple atm so there is still a lot of room for improvement. Some game modes could be added, ctf, koth, but still it's up to you if you want to do so.

My suggestion : Should be class-wise. So there will not be 2 trolls fighting with same hp, attack speed, damage, and both stunning with 5 seconds. Because if I were the troll I'll level the stun and drain. I'll just stun and drain them to death.

Yes. I almost forgot to say this. You should add a troll headhunter, troll mage, troll berserker, etc.

Using one class for the whole duration again and again would be too boring. Adding a lot of trolls here would be a good move to make and would make it unique (because it only has trolls as heroes) and fun to play.

I think I'm going to do this. For now, the map has a new version adding game modes: 1. Kill All - Where you have to select number of death to be eliminated, 2. Kills Count - Where you win according to the number of kills you got. (new version will be released soon, please wait for it.)

My only problem when it comes to troll classes are spells to use. I couldn't find right spells in the spell section and if I do it myself, it will take time because for 4 heroes you will be needing at least 3-6 custom spells.

I hope to finish the whole map with your help hive people. Thanks for the suggestions and comments.

Well, played map and it was quite good but easily gets boring due to many stuffs. Here is my review to give you details on what things I noitced to be good in the game and something wrong with the game:

Troll Smash Review (No Version Stated)
[+] Good Points:
-Terrain looks good. Its not flat and also empty. But I do think some areas where raised too much giving unwanted results and also maybe try making tiles smooth? Will give a smooth and goood result. But still nice terrain!
-The idea of the neutral creeps in the areas is really good making it more lively but you could have added more.
-The items are good, some are freshly new and some are modified. Looks good but still open for improvements and updates if you ask me.

[-] Bad Points:
-Skills of the Troll heroes are quite weird. Doesnt fit the hero itself. Reasons? Blink is compeletly out of the league. Suggestion is change it to something that is more of a skill that becomes useful in battle. Troll Stone looks fine but I suggest change the name to something more of Throw Stone or such. Life Drain is also out of h lueague, trolls in real life doesnt have this kind of magics. Either change it to lifesteal aura or aura that increases attack speeds and such. Fourth skill looks bad also, I cant simply imagine how a Troll will become an Ancient Giant made of stones. I suggest just make it like an avatar or somethng else.
-Gameplay gets boring fast. I suggest add some special events into it maybe some random neutral bosses spawning or Players will teleported in a Arena to compete or such.

[] Suggestions:
-Maybe some minor terrain improvements. Suggestions were said above
-Most of the abilities should be changed for the Troll heroes. I have given you a handful of suggestions for that.
-Game gets boring fast. Once again, suggestion were said and it is up to you to add something more that you think will tickle the audience's fancy.
-Add some mre items preferable are recipes, Boss Drops Items, Special Events Gifts (if you are gonna add some special events in game) and more...

Overall, good map with good terrain, decent choices of items,but has some letdowns and sadly many of them. For now, rated 3/5

For me, I would vote in the Poll "Better" so good luck on improving this map.

Actually I have some suggestion :
Troll Priest focus on heal, giving armor, giving attack speed, giving damage, giving invisibility etc.
Troll Berserker focus on big damage output, lifesteal and stun
Troll Mage has nuke, hex and drain spells, but had to be channeled otherwise he will be open to stuns.
Troll Headhunter has windwalk-like spells (but reduce movespeed) and ability to slow opponent with each attack. Or even maybe invisibility at night but with high fade time.
