Story : Fairy Tale The Legend of The Ancient Forest
Ten thousand years ago in era "TreeTag 5.13" until "TreeTag 6.05" we lucky can survive. The Fire Aliens who came before is not the best predator and destroyer. The Elders of Forest has a vision about thrid invasion. This time who come is great evil Fire Aliens. The Tree Brotherhood of Ancient Forest have been warning and prepare for the attacks. Now they build greatest weapon to destroy fire aliens but there is not enough time to complete that weapons in time. After calculation by the stars, unfortunetly the weapons would be complete 30 minutes after Fire Aliens arrive in Ancient Forest. Today is the day what the elders told us. Be prepare brother! Today will be the memorial day! May the Spirits of Eternity guide us!

Ents : How to play ent?
• Use blink shortcut to move fast and not easily to catch
• Split Ents job become 3 groups which is :
1. 3 Ents build baby trees non stop to buying times
2. 2 Ents create resources house to supports
3. 3 Ents prepare the technology to create armies

• Dont try to stay resources in one place, because Infernals will easy to catch you after the Guardians killed.

• Always build baby trees to block infernals ways. its free but beware the level of Infernals will increase drastic. Also becareful with ultimate of Infernal Flamo. Don’t ever think once to stop build!
• Think the ways for the armys can pass the baby trees you create , because size of the armys different each other.
• Wisely train units because kill armies of ent make advantage for the infernals to buy crazy items and strong enough to kill every guardian of forests
• Ultimate weapon for Ents is Dragons & Heroes, so try to buy them as much as you can.

NB: Ents can grown up. Which mean Ents have better hitpoint but if get caught it will be restart from the begining.
Infernals : How to play Infernal?

• To win the game Infernals must create some formation to trap Ents and block every posible way. Infernals will hitpoint regeneration at blight terrain.

Burnning : Effective against strong units & can destroy Mammoth tree easily.
Pyra : Effective against mass units & can kill fast Guardian with fire trap.
Blaze : Effective to hunt Ents & catch flying units.
Flamo : Effective to support other Infernals and kill fast long distance enemies.

Counter Tips:
• Always buy Orb of Maga regeneration, Boot, & Crystal Ball as standard item
• Always buy Eyes of Chaos item at Titan Tomb
• Against Superior Ent : buy Golems & Lavo stone at Inferno's Gate
• Against Dragons : buy Blade of Armagedon at Titan Tomb
• Against Mass strong unit : buy Mighty Granit & Titan Stone at Inferno's Gate
• Against Heroes : buy Hearth of Azure item at Titan Stone or max stats with orb of power at Fire Shop
• Against Cenarius Storm Rage : fight together but beware you get killed together at once and lose

NB: Infernal Flamo & Eyes of Chaos item is the key to win the game

Bonus Ability : How to get new ability?

Ents :
1. 12 Random Title : Leaf
Kill 2 Infenals, Cenarius Storm Rage will granted Shadow Moon Skin ability

2. 10 Random Title : Tree
Rescure 5 Ents, Dryad will granted Magic Spear ability

NB: If Ent die after get some Titles, it still remain but loss the ability. The abilities come back with ill and rescue again also have new Title.

Infernals :
1. Seven minute before time expired Black Titan will granted you bonus stats
2. Kill Cenarius Storm Rage and then you will unleased Powerfull Horror unit
Heroes of Ent : 13 Heroes will help Brotherhood of Ent in battle

We have enough tree tags, and if the map size has become bigger, it seems like you are just making it harder for the infernals. I don't understand why there is ice, fire and earth environments in the middle of a damp forest either. You have also turned the tree tag storyline into something extremely crazy involving aliens. o.o

ahahah yes right, we already play many tree tags but the owner not update the map and until today we didn't find any new tree tags with good develop.

maybe you should check this out, not the latest version but give some picture about defeat ents with larger map. :ogre_hurrhurr:

the concept about environments, ancient forests have some mystical forest which is can control weather and environment.

about "aliens" thing...we thought invasion is talk about "aliens", not real aliens like E.T but has some particular condition. :grin:

The layout of the terrain is pretty much the same except the use of different tile sets.

Perhaps you need to have your eyes checked?

There is more than just use of different tilesets.

Hm, despite being just series of doodad & effect spams, it does give a new refreshing feel to the generic boring-ass Tree Tag (which I only ironically play just to exploit any injected cheats x3). So well done on the terrain ;) It's not completely terrible, but not completely average. Just my humble thoughts.

The layout of the terrain is similar to the others except the use of different tile sets, judging from the preview. The doodads are abit over used since it looks like you're spamming it all over one area. While in some others are quite balanced and works well.

ahahah thx for your opinion and about sky... thats not a sky~ its a trick to looklike a sky, the recipe is :
1. use generic sky (night)
2. use purple colour of fog
3. and then create unit with this model in front the camera.

Personally, I found the terrain surprisingly good, but my opinion aside, I'm sure anyone can agree it's well above mediocre and some bits are real eye-candy-like (sue me for making up words). I'm not sure what to make of the "season theme" here, though I can understand winter, summer, etc. have different tree models and doodads. The author might want to explain this to me, since I don't understand the appeal. Nevertheless : good terrain. (4/5)

Put simply, I think the models are incredible! Especially the ones at the end (cinematic) that I've never seen before. Either they are yours or imported from the Hive, you made good use of them. (5/5) *

"Pretty" is what comes to mind when trying to describe the icons. Very ..."nature-ish". And, thank God, none of them are missing or broken. (4/5)

I've got no real complaints except for maybe some explosions, or burst-fire visuals seem to be leaking, or at the very least, something else is making it periodically lag. I'll get into this in the game-play section. (3/5)

There are a few things I'd like to point out : You should try to reduce file-size by , I don't know...NOT having so many taunts ? I mean , at the end, when I was defeated (yes, call me a n00b), I understand the heroes were having an epic dialogue and what-not, but they don't have to act like drama queens. Removing some of them won't have any negative impact on the game-play or cinematic, I guarantee it. More-so, you can use the freed up space to maybe add a custom loading-screen with some basic info on how to play and / or general info of current version + change-log, etc.

I'll start with the truth : I was never a fan of this type of map and never really played a "Tree Tag" before ^^" . So, in the beginning I was a bit lost and didn't quite understand what to do. (I actually thought I had to "tag" a tree and move away xD) . But no, the game-play is fun, addictive and interesting to learn. A variety of buildings to choose from and user-friendly descriptions. My only complaint is : Why so many Tree-hugers, why so few Infernals ? Are they supposed to balance out somehow ? (4/5)

Do I recommend (Tree)Tag fans to play this : Yes

Do I recommend non-(Tree)Tag fans to play this ? : Yes

Will I play this map again : Yes (it was quite fun)

Final verdict : This map deserves attention. At least try it out once, you won't regret it.

Foot-note* :

As the above post said, the cinematic is a tad too lengthy. Please do something about this. Also, please fix the lag, it ruins the map itself. I will rate the map one point lower than normally til these issues are fixed. (If no one else experienced the lag / leaks, please contact me and I shall edit my post)

If you people try to help the map section, you should review maps that I didn't review yet, the rating won't change if you post another review.

All I'm saying is I don't approve of "flimsy" reviews. Pointing out the + and - of a map does not constitute or make a review by definition. It is simply that above. [Pointing out]. However, even if you do, or do not personally review a map, I shall stay with my current format that , I hope you agree, pretty much covers all areas of a map and its components. Oh and fear not : I have reviewed quite a lot of maps, though my post count my not show it. You just keep doing what you do best.

terrain looks nice i will test and maybe you can put bonuses on units if they go to those ice whatever places

special thx to Kl3sk and Ironhide who review my map, also thx for your suggestion it means a lot. we will improved our map to be better. soon~ :ogre_hurrhurr:

about Infernal skin not our model but i use b17ride infernal skin. for different looklike ingame, we using ability "sphere" for special effect infernals. :ogre_haosis:

yes i already think about it,but this map already have alot of units. maybe i will add for each territory will sell 1 special unit.
