Trap Trigger Help Needed

I'm working on a trap that's based off statis trap, but I want to use a variation of a sleep effect. So that the target gets immobilized but damage will revive it.

Well, I used statis trap and all I've been able to figure out how to do so far is that Event - Unit dies Condition - Unit = Trap. That just lets me know when the trap explodes, but as for targeting the unit that caused it to detonate or casting a custom spell on that unit I'm at a loss.

Any examples or links or help anyone can offer?
