That would perhaps be better for a monthly thing, but yes it would be cool, but for such a feature to appear we would need to have a VERY active staff and as none of us are payed we simply cannot take that much care of the site as that would mean we would have to.

- Many contests are underway at all times. More are in development.
- This suggestion is (sort of) in the works. Our intrepid webmaster is considering some revisions that will provide some extra functionality to our front page, as well as a "Director's Choice" forum to display outstanding resources. No promises on the time frame: stay tuned.

That would be a bit easier to do, like we spotlight some of the maps and resources that we find excellent, but it is not a certain amount.

Top 3 maps/resources would be driven by the download count. Easy to do and might be implemented when I get the time

well it could be calculated automatically, by map rating, so every month it shows the best 3 things.

User ratings is a bad way of showcasing the "best" stuff.

Downloads, is also an inaccurate way, because some models are downloaded to see what they look like, or just to add to someone's collection, I like the idea, but the solutions seem impractical from a true judge of the quality of the resources IMO
