Hi, hive. I have just finished the first race of my new map and thought everything was fine. I made a simple test run and found this ugly tooltip bug
wcttbug.jpg

As you can see the tooltip is not synchronized with its borders. This happens to all the heroes(only to them, unit and ability tooltips are Ok) and the text appears at different places every time. Do any one known what causes this. I tried to replace the ctrl+enter with |n to go to a new line(although it works fine with other tooltips) but nothing changed.

Also is it normal that in WE I can write longer tooltips that cannot be fully revealed ingame(the last few words are missing). This happens to unit tooltips and in the game interface(I changed the attack and defence types' description but although the new descriptions are not longer than the old ones, only the first several words can be seen)

Try shortening it. Tooltips are meant to help you know what something is, not be a novel. They should contain information only revelent to gameplay of the unit, not any fantasy background. By the time people have finished reading that they will probably have lost.

I have even longer tooltips in the map that work. Shorter work too. This problem happens in fact to just 2 units - both heroes. All normal units and ability tooltips work fine(and as I said some are even longer because I use them as story placeholders). I also found that sometimes the tooltips doesn't show at all. Sometimes they show correctly but the unit requirements do not.
I'll try to shorten them and see if it works .them. Thanks.

Edit: Nope, shortening doesn't help. I left only a few words just to test and it still doesn't show.
