No, he didn't start the project. The project's built on the works of PipeDream / Zoxc / Xttocs, and then the specifics code wrapping etc. done by Mindy and a few others here.
Taking that and claiming it to be a project you started is lame. Very, very lame. Particularly when the project has been running for several years.
