The Voidmaker

The Voidmaker

History: The Voidmaker was first forged by an expert blacksmith out of gold and worn by a hero, willing to defend his village with it. But the worst happened - the hero died in battle and lost his head. Rumors say that the sword was stolen by a warlock and enchanted with the power of the void, sending anything that slices to the nothingness.

UPDATE:
1.Changed internal name

UPDATE:
1.The Model is now straight, not angled.
2.The blade is a bit fatter now
In the viewer all of my models look buggy,
but in the editor it looks fine dunno why :O
About the texture, it won't be noticed ingame, cause of the particles, and attachments are small :)
whoops i wrote not straight instead of now straight lol

UPDATE:
1.Decreased Total size of the weapon... damn it was very big :D

Keywords:
void, nothing, gold, hero, vortballat, enchanted, maker, sending, nothingness, slice, power, stolen, warlock, big, small, size.

A sword made of gold? That would be worse than useless :p
"YES, gold is stronger than iron. What are they teaching these humans nowadays?"

Have some imagination :D

About the model, I think it's too thin for an WC3 attachment. The sword as a whole is not straight (there is an angle between the handle and the blade), the wrap is quite blurry, especially on the blade (which won't be seen that much because of the animation, but still...). Speaking of the animation, it doesn't work in the viewer for some reason, haven't tried it ingame, so i won't make conclusions. The verticles and the mesh as a whole isn't put together well, since there are some holes (between the handle and the blade), but i guess that won't be visible since attachments aren't so big ingame. The texture doesn't seem like gold, but more like bronze or rusty iron.

Overall, it is a nice start, but it does need some serious editing. Hope you appreciate the critism, have a 3/5 +rep for the effort. Keep going! :)

Minecraft gold sword have the same efficiency than the stone sword but have less durability and steel sword have three times higher durability and 1 more damage but the gold sword is a little more enchant-able but generally players enchant diamond swords so the gold is not good as steel for making swords in minecraft

I through when I first read the description that the blacksmith had no gold and so had to make a sword. (out of gold could apply in your sentence to the blacksmith or maybe I just do not understand English rules the second is more probable)
