The Tale of Ronin - Part 2

Finally, I finished the second part of The Tale of Ronin. I actually diden't want to make a Part 2 at all, but it is here so whatever -.-

Credits at the end of the cinematic

Based on the Ultimate terrainig Map

Changelog: (All chances come with the new version)
-Fixed the spelling faults now, if you find anotherone just say it
-Updated the dialogs a little bit so the story is a bit more clear.
-Revised the duel with Mushi and the Ninja in the Dojo. There's a lot more action in there now.
-Imported more custom music

FINALLY someone who put effort into creating a lively and nice scenery

a lot to read but it's worth it
it still has some minor issues like:
in the end when he's leaving through the door and the rat servant (is he a servant?) says they'll cover his back he says: "thanks."
well from the dialog before i'd say he's not the type of guy to say "thanks" ^^
but that's basicly nothing

it's not the perfect cinematic for me but thats individual liking and if i browse the cinematic database of the past month it's still a 5/5

5/5

ps: where is "part 1"?

[+] - Well develop terrain.
[!] - Leak trigger, but since this is cinematic. It doesn't matter even though it leak.
[-] - Typo error found, you mistype "their" as "theire"
[-] - Lot's of typo error, it ruin the cinematic. Fix it.
[-] - Some camera movement not suitable for certain scenery.
[-] - Unit can walk through the door without open it ?
[-] - No music or voice actor, which is a kill joy for it.

Review : There terrain is very good, it been done as detail as possible to make it look like japanese cultural alike.

And it seems to follow the theme of japanese war time quite well.

However, it lack of music/voice actor which could kill the joy of watching this cinematic. Not forget to mention there is a lot of typo error in those dialog. If there is grammar error, it is fine as long as those audience could understand it. But, typo error is a eyesore especially when people try to read those dialog.

Some camera timing was not accurate, such as switching from one camera to another all the sudden at the wrong scenario.

This map condition is currently useful, but not ready to be recommend yet.

Oh boy! I bet this is going to be a nice cinematic! I'll tell ya what i think of it later.
Warning Spoilers

Pro's
• Awesome terrain.
• Good choice for death sounds for the ninja's

Con's
• Needs more music
• Needs more action Example the units can go through the door without opening it?
• Camera's are sometimes not suitable for the scenery.

Neutral questions
• Why are the ninjas eating behind the crates? XD
• The floors sometimes dissapear.

Despite all the Con's 5/5.

He doesn't say thanks, he says; Thanks... The three dots makes it like he says it without any emotion.

And Part 1 is The tale of Ronin - Part 1 =P

Heres part 1: The Ultimate Terraining Map - The Hive Workshop - A Warcraft III Modding Site

Main points from both Part 1 and 2:
There is way to much puase between actions, they sit around talking in the middle of a fight.
The people don't talk relisticly, and there are some typos.

Other then that... theres nothing GOOD about it. The terrain consisits of imports so its impossible to be too bad, but the terrain really isn't that good. The fights were boring (and silly with such long puases) the storyline, the very little we have seen of it, isn't amazing.. Not to say its bad, but theres nothing that makes this good, and there is some bugs, so It comes out as "below average". Fix the bugs and its average. Make them longer, and improve them quite a bit and I could see these being a very good series.
