Time to pronounce that the Oakwood Forest ORPG is back on track again. With some new team members and a 'new' old teammember we're working on the map again to finally get to a beta version.

The Oakwood Forest Team:
RaiN.:
RaiN. has done like 20 systems and 80+ spells for Oakwood so far. He always was Oakwood's main coder but left the team a while ago. Now he's back in the team again and working hard on various codes.
Hanky:
Hanky just joined the Oakwood team. He's been known for various good systems and spells and will hopefully contribute to Oakwood with many of his code skills.
CRAZYRUSSIAN:
CRAZYRUSSIAN didn't do anything for Oakwood yet. However he recently joined the project. Whenever he has some time he's going to work on making various Oakwood icons and a loading screen.
Teuncreemers:
So far I did 100% of the terrain. I've also been the one making the storyline, class concepts and basically all the idea's in the game itself. 2 years ago I started this project, and it's getting time to finish it.

In the Oakwood Forest there are 3 factions. The Gryphonwing Alliance, The Bloodbane Clan and the Defilers. After entering the Oakwood Forest you have to pick one of those factions in order to start playing. Every faction has its own 8 completely unique classes.
Each of those classes has 11 abilities and a selection of 20 specialisation points. Each of those classes basically has its own role in the game; may it be dealing heavy damage to foes or healing wounded allies nearby. It's up to the player what kind of character he wants to become.
After picking your character you will be able to level to level 40 by doing various quests and events. In order to chose specialisation points, to improve a certain aspect of your abilities, you have to finish all the quests of a certain area; rewarding you with 1 specialisation point up to a maximum of 10 per character.
Eventually after reaching level 4 you will be confronted with your first event. Events are group quests that can be done by anyone at the same time. The last stage of an event always has a boss fight where players have to cooperate to defeat a certain strong enemy. At a higher level players will even come across Player versus Player events, where the last boss is a champion of an opposite faction. The Oakwood Forest will have between 20 and 50 events varying between easy and very hard; each with their own loot tables.

The Gryphonwing Sage
The Gryphonwing Redeemer
The Gryphonwing Rune Warrior
The Gryphonwing Ranger
The Gryphonwing Engineer
The Gryphonwing Chanter
The Gryphonwing Crusader
The Gryphonwing Stone Guard

The Bloodbane Berserker
The Bloodbane Summoner
The Bloodbane Worgmaster
The Bloodbane Shaman

Hurrah? Well, the more good maps on track, the better. I just hate the waiting time though. D:
