The Green Lights

I know the name sux, but it's supposed to be that northern hemisphere light stuff, warcraftised. Pl0x comment.
Oh, still an early Wip.

Hmm, I've actually thought of doing one of these myself.
Though I considered different methods at that time.

The light looks really good, however the thick line projected on the water ruins it. Otherwise, nice atmosphere.

Ideas plox? The line was because it started off as a moonshine on the water terrain . But it does look bad, yeah.

Ideas... well, only thing I can think of is adding more plants and environmental doodads to those islands, and you're good to go. Oh, and maybe a moon...

Ive been looking at google images of the northern hemisphere. I didnt see many complete green lights per say, and if you will, I dont imagine the phenomenon of such a event to be soley green. It always looks like a distorted but elaboratly beautiful rainbow. Maybe a ship falling off the edge of the world would make it better too. A humble suggestion. I agree with frostwhisper.

Yes, that is what I was thinking too, is that it wouldn't all be green. But correct me if I'm wrong... but are there many palm trees in the northern hemisphere? Or is that maybe the warcraftised part?

Looks great. Only problem I have (its not even terrain related, really) is that arn't the northern lights in, you know, the North? Whats with the tropical islands doing in the north? Maybe you should change the islands to wintery. Anyway, looks good. You could also add more colors than just green.

Weeell, I am gonna add in different colours but this is the warcraft-hemisphere lights, so it might be tropical y'know.

I thought the northern lights were blue and pink and green and stuff, not all yellow. Anyways, it's ok, but the light looks like it started 10 feet above the water...

Oh, you were going for the same look, not the same place. Okay, gotcha! Now it looks fine, just needs more colors, but you gonna add those in.
