[Solved] Texture displays in WCIII Model Viewer/Editor...but not on mapedit... ideas?
Edit: Though this is obviously an alpha issue I have decided to abandon this reskin, as another model with better animation which works in worldedit in a retextured form has been found.
thank you all for your help, I have distributed rep.
Possible solution: Proper management of textures using Magos' WarcraftIII editor.
I recently did my first texture/slight model edit for this model:

So I'm replacing an in-game texture with a custom one, I thought I did the pathing correctly but apparently not?
Here is what it looks like in worldedit:
Here is what it looks like in WCIII Model Viewer:
Here is what it looks like in WCIII Model Edtior:
Oh and here's what the texture looks like (red overlay is the alpha channel)
Any suggestions as to what could cause this or how I could go about fixing it? Many thanks.
Rep will be given for any help provided.
I'm working on an edit for the "Napoleonic Skirmisher" as well, and I wouldn't like to encounter this error again after working on a texture heh.
Also am I allowed to do these edits w/o permission so long as I don't take credit for them or upload them?
I mean..obviously there's no law saying I can't, but will I be shunned from hive for doing it?
