WARSONG CLASH 1.2

Map Info


This is an AOS-Type map, whose environment split up into barrens and forest.
It is inspired by maps like Cataclysm, JFA or Scars of War.
My intension was to create a lovely looking and easy understandable map.
The two diffrent factions are Horde (north) and Alliance (south).


Gameplay


1.) You select a hero and fight alongside units.
2.) On every route are control points. You get control if you destroy them.
3.) The goal is to take down the enemy boss to win.


Features


  1. 5 unique Heroes on each side
  2. lovely tarrained map without 'blizzard cliffs'
  3. easy item / item upgrade system
  4. Teleportation
  5. Challenges and Events with Bosses
  6. ->Legendary Item Drops
  7. Control Points as known from cloudwolf's cataclysm
  8. ->a) Control Points can be used to teleport to you base
  9. ->a.a) you can teleport from the base to every control point you control
  10. ->b) Control Points can be used to build a trebuchet
  11. trebuchets can be used to damage enemy towers

Sounds pretty cool. :thumbs_up:
I'm assuming that the four different factions will be represented by the different races, but are you using custom skins for your heroes (or planning to)?
Also it would be great if you could post some screenshots of your map and hero/es.
 
Strength potion and that blood sample thing shares the same base order id I believe. I cast Strength potion when I click the blood sample thing while its in cooldown.

Anyway, really cool map. The spells are rather sweet and seems fairly balanced. I haven't really got much time to test it, so this is all I can say.

Update: new Beta

- a lot of terrain rework
- finished the hero Berserker (Ogre side)
- A new tower-system (mix of usually tower system like in dota or smota and control points like in cloudwolfs cataclysm)


I want to finish version 3 for map resource until christmas.

(Version 2 has a big map size, because there is a lot of imported stuff I do not use. The finished version will be smaller.)

Please give feedback. It's needed...
