The first island could use a little bit more smooth tool

however I do like the second island, it's charming however you should sink the rocks into the ground so that you can't see that it's floating

Nice screenshots, average terrain.
Ashenvale trees on an island doesn't fit.
Adding rocks, grass and some fitting fog would make it ´more interesting.

thanks for viewing..what do you suggest as a replacement for the ashenvale trees?I do not intend to put in too much doodads because my map requires many structures to be built. Adding some more rocks and grass here and there will definitely help, point taken..

It looks to empty, needs rocks dodoads of some sort for sure. Oh and mind putting the images in hidden tags, they tend to stretch the screen. Thanks.
It's still a work on progress..I will be placing more doodads when I get to finish the whole map, I'm trying to budget the amount of doodads I'm going to place..As for feeling empty, the open spaces are intentional. For my map, free spaces are needed to accommodate expanding empires that you have to build..Just wanted to get some comments for my terrain as I develop it..thanks for stopping by anyway..

I see this a lot, and I'm not sure why: People tend to think that waterfalls come out of the top of steep little hills like lava comes out of a volcano. They really don't... most of the time, their origins are springs (that form mountain lakes/ponds which overflow to create a waterfall).

I love the outline of the map, and all the icelands, I just hope you make a kickass terrain to go with it, just remember to use lots of imports :)

The screenshots can be seen on my map development thread,as for using imports I only used few like the animated grass from UTM, I was reserving imports for unit custom models..
