ok, so I've got the model, I've unzipped it, and I've imported it onto my map. I changed the one pathing that is mentioned, but all I get is the top half of the model along with some giant 2D square right behind it.

help would be appreciated!

HeroElfRoque.mdx

That's an interesting model edit, but its got some fairly serious problems. To get it to work I used the path "HeroElfRoque.blp" Simply delete "war3mapImported\" from the file path and the model should be viewable in the game.

There is a conflict with the portrait: the model file does not reference it. I suggest using War3ModelEditor (or similar software) to add a view camera to the model itself and just dispense with the portrait file.

The .rar archive includes two (questionable quality) icons. The BTN has a spelling error in the file path. If you wish to use them, the paths are:

ReplacableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNHeroElfRoque.blp
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNHeroElfRoque.blp

Ok, the icons work now, but the model itself isn't displaying correctly. It still has half a body and a "backdrop" to it.

!@#$ i'm an asshole

thanks for the quick replies!
