Temple of the Sea Goddess Story
Chris Down, a man who use to be a below deck cleaner, is now an admiral of his own ship called The Golden Sun. He
use to operate with The Lady Reylia until he worked his way up after accidently landing on a amazonian island full of hostile women. After they saved them from their demon god who was controling them, they claim the land as a new home due to its mass climate differences on each island for resources. Time passed by and the Coralscale Naga who has been residence of the island before the ship or the women came, began to leave to seek saftey at their Goddess's temple.
Once the Coralscales left, Chris began exploring their reef to search for valuable remains. He ended up finding a tablet containing information on a powerful item that the Goddess posses that can turn the waters of Cyra itself alive and attack anything it commands it to do. Chris thought deeply, should he search for this item? When he came back into his
room at his ship, he decided to search for the temple and take the item.
The next day him and his penguin crew, native residences of the Crystal Island in Nac'ja, set up a sign up booth for daring travelers to seek out power and secrets. He managed to get 30 travelers to sign up and eager to embark on their adventure. Chris escorted the travelers onto his ship, set the rules and set sailed to find the hidden. After a couple of weeks sailing close to the center of the Cyra Ocean... the area started to get foggy...
Features:
This map provides a group gameplay, relying on your healers to keep you alive through unavoidable damage and keeping yourself alive by running out of harmful spells from the ground
At default, easy mode is on with infinite lives or you can go hard mode and start with only 5 lives.
A mana system where once you reach a certain stack, all of your mana will be repelnished
Custom models, skins, spell animations, and icons from the creative users in Hiveworkshop!
30 heroes to choose from, each having an element of power to add in a little flavor.
There are 5 differenct roles each hero plays
[Tanks] Takes those nasty boss autoattcks from your allies. Boss keeps attacking your fragile healer? No problem! We all need meatshields in our lives
[Healers] The reason why your group failed! Many times, there will be intense healing and if they aren't catching up, who knows what will happen
[Melee DPS] Why? So the range area won't be cluttered and people won't be dying from AoE spells, but careful, some monsters do have melee only spells
[Range DPS] Just stay far away and shoot them with your guns, bows, the occasional gunner that shoots gnomes instead of bullets (If only... if only)
[Mages] There has to be a mage in a group, no matter what. You will most likely be clicking your keybinds more then you are doing anything else, low cooldowns. Careful though, you might be one of those people who "accidently" pull more monsters with your fancy low cooldown AoE spells
Some things you should know:
There's going to be heavy fog, which is good. Careful not to step on anything (Hey there might be traps, might be not)
There's a built in boss journal inside, no 3D preview though, read them! Some spells WILL instantly kill you, know which
ones they are.
There's story, just bits of it through out the map.

Author's notes:
My terraining skill is pretty low. I did experiment a bit with the waterfalls and sizing aswell as height of the doodads, the more the I work on this map, the more ideas I will get the terrain better but for now, it will be just what it is.
Not everything is balanced, kinda difficult to balance things out for a 10 player map for me. I always open for number tweaking if any of you guys have a suggestion and a good reason for it.
My triggering is pretty low, every boss spell was trial and error but it managed to work at the end.
I learned so many things while making this map and if all is good, I can try to make a campaign for the story I have put there, I did make a map for it but I had to put it on hold.
I'm also trying my best to try the keep the file size low, might have to remove a lot of custom models.
