Got inspired by some picture so I made this, nothing too special but it's nice.

nice execution and great idea/terrain

however only thing i see that is strange is the sunrays APPEAR to be coming from a singlular area behind that tree that doesnt look like it would be of the suns location

in other words the sun is " Infront of the background trees, and behind the foreground trees." which makes it seem like some sort of UFO

Definitely a fine idea and a nice execution, however as above mentioned the sunrays appear oddly to me. Aside from what thedeathhunterxx mentioned, the rightbound rays are actually oddly angled. For those rays to be accurate, I believe the sun would have to appear below its current position. Also, the mere scale of the sun makes it quite unrealistic, and not in a cool surreal way sadly. Apologies, but I have no suggestions on how to deal with everything I just mentioned, these are just ideas that filled my head as I viewed your terrain.

I like it. I like it a lot.
Except the sun rays are a little bit too much on the eye. Also the rays on the angle are a bit odd, shift them like the above posts have stated and you've got absolute win.

/criticism.

Since when did terrains have to be original? I don't see many orginal terrains here. Old techniques + old ideas. Only thing is that the execution overal is getting better.

sure, let's carry on bad habits, that's how we improve :- )
obviously they don't have to be original but it would be nice to see something original once in a while, this would be one of those right down the bottom of the scale though
