Hey Zweib.

Having played a monk at endgame content for the last few days, I can't help but noticing how weak this talent is. 5% chance to put cripple on attacked mob is so low that it is next to useless. Please increase this to at least 10-15% to make it a slightly more useful talent.

The attackspeed of monks is so ridicolously high, I can not see how this talent should be weak? If anything, it's clearly one of the strongest monk talents, allowing you to have cripple constantly on the main target and putting it on secondary targets via the spell directly. It also allows you to unlearn crippling curse if you wish so as the proc happens no matter if you got the spell or not.

I think 5% is perfectly fine, it all comes down to luck, 5% comes out to a 1/20 average on each attack, and like Zwiebelchen said monks usually have massive attack speed allowing that to proc quite a bit, I mean "Mind and Body" is a 8% (1/12.5 avg) only a 3% difference. So it all comes down to luck, to me personally, the proc chance seems perfectly fine. Maybe boosting it like 7% wouldn't be a bad idea, but, doubling if not tripling the proc chance is a little out there, then at that point it would be a little too powerful, because mind you, crippling curses stack.

Maybe give us a way for interrupt channeling/cast, like if they are cursed and you hit with Soul Strike it will be stunned with a CD of 10 seconds, doing so we will be able to tank better and not to depend on thief or other squire class to do that.

There are multiple other classes that are able to compensate for the lack of stuns on a monk. There has to be some trade when compared to a crusader for the increased dps and threat generation.

i think it could use some buff!, or nerf the other lv4 talent which ignore armor on crippled target.. seeing that both are lv4 talents one is incredibly strong than the other.

but right now in bossfights ignoring armor do a lot more impact in terms of damage and much more reliable in terms of providing steady threat from spanking, because of monk's natural low arp + a monster 15% crit bonus. anyway i think that balancing talent need to be seen as a whole, martial arts is an offensive talent and should offer more damage so i'm fine.

also, idk if it's just me but i don't think 4 sec timer on body and mind proc is neccesary D:
