suggerstion for forums

ive seen some forums going on for too long and the topic eventaully gets stale until nobody can say anything useful, which means eventaully they get locked. ive seen some other sites do it, i just think there should be a posting limit per thread so they dont get overflowed with spam.

Hmmm...there's an idea...but there should be a way for it to be allowed to exceed that limit for situations, like for example, when darky asked for everyone's opinion on wether he should make a WoW site, a topic which will certainly have a massive number of replies.

well i guess there can be some exceptions, but there are some forums particularly in offtopic that have about 20-30 pages of replies, some more. itd be much easier just to have a limit rather than to lock these.
