Hi guys,

I have searched this forum with the key word "stormsphere" and read guides like "enchancing the skies", as well as trying myself multiple times, but I am having quite an issue with regard to stormspheres.

Essentially, I can make it look like one thing in the "lock the game settings" view, but when i actually go test the map, everything goes wrong.

This is an example of what I can sometimes make it look like:

But as soon as I test the map, it ends up looking this like:

I have the terrain fog set to 0-12000, but it keeps only showing me a small portion of the map, and it does not show the stormsphere. In fact, it does not even show the sky, which should be rendered hidden when the stormsphere is added according to the guides I read.

The issue is, when i mess around with the stormsphere too much my editor crashes, so I am having trouble really testing to find out what I am doing wrong. I know, according to the guides, I should have it set to unclickable because its too big, but i need to try to adjust it since it is never showing ingame :(

I have been trying to figure how to work this from 5pm until 11 pm with 0 success, to say this is frustrating would be an understatement ;/

Was just wondering if I am doing something incredible wrong that could explain why I keep encountering these hangups with the stormsphere.

Many thanks guys :p

Yeah I remember struggling with it a bit in the past too =P

Try going to triggers and create an action like "Environment - Set Sky to Fogged Sky" (or other sky you like). This way it should appear ingame.

Then you should experiment a little Far Clipping (Z) value found in the event "Camera - Set Camera Field (Timed)" or found in window that pops up when double-clicking the blue camera object inside World Editor (in case you're using the view of a pre-placed camera in your cinematic). You should increase this Far Z value (or whatever it's called) until it's good.
