Stealth (CTF) v 1.02z

[ This is an updated version of a map for the Minigame contest ]

- GAMEPLAY -

The game is based around capture the flag, where two teams attempt to steal the opponent's flag and return it to the allied base. With a medium array of available units and items, each decision will be vital, each communication necessary, and each click a consequence. The goal of the game is to reach a total of 280 points which are gained from kills and capturing the flag. Capturing the flag may sound easy right? However, there are 4 different paths leading to the same destination. One, guarded by towers is the fastest, and sometimes the safetest. Two others do not have an exit, but may use the other exits. The last is the longest way back, but can easily fool any team.

What makes this so different? The units, the items, the gameplay!
The units you get to choose from are not just ones with Wind Walk and such. These are custom abilities, each having its own purpose.
Items are specialized for a purpose. Ranging from sight giving to damage to recovery and more.

- FEATURES -

I have worked very hard on this map and included in it are features from my previous maps.

Revival: revival is like the revival in Tides of Blood, unit is turned invulnerable, leaving its dead body to be revived. (in the upcoming versions there may be revive items and such)

Bounty: this game currently does not use gold, but it's more familiar to people to call this bounty. In actuality, it is points, each damage done adds bounty until the unit dies. Over time, the bounty is decreased, so quick killing is a must.

Firstly I apologize for the wait for the review. Secondly, here is the review, as short as it is. The terrain is quite fine, well most Ashenvale terrains turn out fine. The heroes are well, okay. The tooltips lack more information about the spells and the heroes themselves. The spells aren't anything special, and there are too few on a hero. I don't like the fact the user cannot choose them, but they just exist there. The sole idea of the map isn't new, a CTF map type has been seen numerous times before, and this one isn't anything too special. However it has decent terrain, average heroes and works quite fine. Approved with a 2/5 (Lacking) rating.
