Statue of monk

This bundle is marked as lacking. It fails to meet the standard requirements and may only have minor use.
This is a part from altar, which i used in my campaing. I think it would be useful for decoration ancient places in fantasy maps.

Review: I like it. Simple but useful. But please find a better stone texture. There are plenty of them in the MPQ. This one is of low detail even for wc3.
I would like a better texture, even if it require a custom one since map size is no longer an issue. Not talking as a reviewer, it is just that now there is no inherent goodness about ingame textures as map sizes is now a non-issue.

That'd be a fatal blow for like 90% of modelers. The main reason we use ingame texture isn't to save space, but because we're unable to create good looking textures. There's a reason why model section has at least 10 times more different uploaders than textures section.

That is more than fair. Still, the texture is too low quality for my liking. I cannot talk for others, but that is not why I model more often than skinning. Rather, modeling leaves you with more freedom than texturing an already existing model.

Using in-game textures isn't only about size; in fact, for guys like myself (using a custom MPQ), I've *never* truly worried about size.

Rather, in-game textures are one of the most sure-fire methods for nailing that "Warcraft "aesthetic; that alone ('Warcraftiness' or 'fitting to the standard game') is of utmost importance to modders such as myself.
