Yes! Yet another story, but with solid determination, I may yet actually finish this one! This story is mostly speculation of what happens to Revan after he defeats Malak and destroys the Star Forge, based on what occurs throughout both the Knights of the Old Republic games. If you haven't played those games yet, don't fret. I've personally included an incredibly long "opening crawl", if you will. Besides, what good is a Star Wars story without an opening crawl? Well, that's enough of a boring introduction I think. Enjoy the story!

Star Wars: The True Sith

4,000 years before the Rise and Fall of Darth Vader, the Old
Republic was beset by conflict. The vicious Mandalorians sought
to "test" themselves against the might of the Republic. The Mandalorians began to destroy innocent, defenseless worlds, and the Republic was nearly helpless to stop them. They begged the Jedi Council to help them in their time of need, but the Jedi wished to debate and discuss. Two young Jedi Knights named Revan and Malak were disgusted by the complacency of the Jedi, and decided to help the Republic, against the Council's wishes.

Revan and Malak amassed a massive following of fellow Jedi, and they raced to counter the Mandalorian threat. Soon, the Mandalorians were crushed, and Revan and Malak returned home not as Jedi, but as heroes. Shortly after, Revan, Malak, and their following left known space in order to "hunt down the remaining Mandalorians", when in reality they were heading to the Star Forge, a massive space station that was fueled by the Darkside.
Revan and Malak used the Star Forge to mass an enormous Sith armada with which to destroy the Old Republic.

Revan then named himself Dark Lord of the Sith, and with Malak as his apprentice, began to attack weak Republic worlds. The Republic was helpless to defend itself, and it seemed that all hope was lost. But a young Jedi named Bastila Shan and a strike-team of Jedi Knights boarded the
Revenge, Revan's flagship, in an attempt to capture the Dark Lord. Just as Revan and Bastila were about to fight eachother, Malak ordered his ship to fire upon the Revenge's bridge. Assuming his old master dead, Malak took the mantle of Dark Lord of the Sith for himself.

Revan was almost slain, but a small flicker of life remained within him. Bastila held that flicker and kept Revan alive, and in the process creating a Force bond between them. She then brought Revan before the Jedi Council. The Council wished to learn what they could from Revan's memories, but his mind was damaged. They then programmed a new identity into Revan, one loyal to the Republic, and placed him in a position near Bastila, who would slowly try to uncover how he amassed such a massive Sith fleet while making sure he would never remember who he once was.

Eventually, Revan had come before the Jedi Council, and was re-initiated into the order of the Jedi. The Jedi had tasked him with exploring ruins that he and Malak had entered only a few years before. Within those ruins, he had found a piece of what were known as "Star Maps", which held the key to finding the Star Forge. Upon learning of them, the Council had sent Revan on a quest to find the rest of the Star Maps. After finding the third one, Revan and his companions were captured by the Leviathan, Darth Malak's flagship. Eventually, Revan and his crew broke free. But as Revan, Bastila, and Carth were about to leave, they were confronted by Darth Malak, who told Revan who he once was.

Revan dueled Darth Malak, and before the final blow was struck, was stunned by the Dark Lord. Bastila rushed to protect Revan, and told him to leave her and find the Star Forge. Revan found the last Star Map, then headed to the Lehon system to confront his old apprentice and destroy the Star Forge. Once on the Star Forge, he battled through a nearly endless amount of Sith troopers, droids, and Dark Jedi. Eventually, he reached the Star Forge's control room, where he confronted Bastila.

He dueled Bastila, but after defeating her, he told her he would not kill her. Then, Bastila expressed her love for Revan and said that she would turn away from the Darkside because of him. Afterwards, Revan confronted Malak, and killed him in a long yet glorious duel. Then, a small Republic fleet arrived and obliderated the Sith armada and the Star Forge. With Darth Malak dead, the Sith defeated, and the Star Forge destroyed, it was a time to rejoice. The Republic had held a victory ceremony on the planet Lehon, where Jedi Master Vandar Tokare advanced Revan to the rank of Jedi Knight, and dubbed him the "Prodigal Knight" for his actions.

The night after the celebration, while the rest of Revan's companions were asleep aboard the
Ebon Hawk, Revan was thrashing about in his dreams. This is where our story begins...

I'm going to try and crash your story by showing you an article where Chris Avellone (Lead writer on KotOR 2) explains what he was splanning for KotOR3 and the True Sith.

http://www.kotaku.com.au/2009/06/question-time-your-interview-with-chris-avellone/

They were survivors of Naga Sadow’s empire. Much like the Shadows in Babylon 5, they were orchestrating the collapse of the Republic from behind the scenes, interfering with key events to cause echoes through the Force and leave it ripe for invasion – hopefully without a shot even being fired. In essence, they were changing the shape of the galaxy through manipulation of specific people and conflicts, much like Sidious did, but on an even larger scale than Episode 1 through 3.

The idea was that in Knights of the Old Republic II, Revan slowly became aware of this underlying threat (because Revan is a tactical badass) and went off to seek out the true source of the threat to the galaxy. This was why he was trying to keep the Old Republic infrastructure intact so he could use it against the Sith. Anyway. Fairy tales and legends and what might have been, but that was the intent, yes.

Good synopsis of KotOR 1 though.

It doesn't exactly crash my story; quite the contrary, actually. Now that I know who exactly the "True Sith" were, I have a lot more footing on which to write my story. Thanks a ton, WILL!
