almost no one plays PvP its almost always Player+Bots vs Player+Bots. Well atleast on PC
And it is hard to kill vehicles, even with a rocket launcher. If the guy is smart, he'll start strafing and shoot back with his lasers/rockets.
Its hard to kill the At-Ats, almost impossible with the Laser Turrets. You have to use those dish things and repeatedly shoot at its neck. by the time you've shot it twice, he'll probably see you can kill you.

In BF1 vehicles were maybe too tough (if comparing to battelfield 1942), the only way to harm them were the rocket (or the turrets if present on the map) which of course had low rate of fire. Grenades did almost no damage to them. Meanwhile the air units were almost unkillable if the pilot was skilled. The only way to destroy them the anti-infantry turrets (but you got killed too fast there), those anti-aircraft guns on vespin and of course, another aircraft.

they arent good in small spaces at all. Skillful players DONT use Rolly Pollys. AT ALL.
Its because Snipers can take them out with a couple shots, less if it doesnt have a full shield. Mines kill anything that isnt a super-heavy vehicle, including Rolly Pollys. Rockets can take care of it if you run out of mines, just run into a blind spot since Rollys cant move for shit when you're reloading. Skillful players use the Magna if they play as CSI

u can shoot them. But people but them around corners so you dont see them. I've even put one on one of the doors on Tantive IV, so it slid up and blew up as units passed through. Its like impossible to avoid mines with a vehicle. Engineers can walk past mines safely, althought that doesnt mean your safe from the blast if an ally steps on it and you're nearby.

Whaaaaat? I've used shotguns online, and done well. Obviously without the health packs, you;d get owned, but just pop one one of those right before you fight, and you're good to go. As well, it's obvious that large open maps aren't great for shot guns.

I know better way.Just wait until pilot crashes sooner or later. And like aircrafts could do something, they are to fast to target units.
What do you think of droiddeka(whats his name)?

They are too fast only if you are noob. It is way easier to kill people on the ground comparing to battlefield 1942. When high in air, you just go with lowest speed possible, shoot stuff, and when you almost reach the ground, you move the nose up and accelerate. And experienced pilots don't crash.

The main drawback of droideka is that their lasers travel way too slow, which makes them almost useless. Although I think it has some use with teamwork.

Only thing I don't like in BF 1 and 2 is that you can't play every faction vs every faction.
I want to play with droids against empire or rebels.

That doesn't make sense. It's like you play with Vikings against ancient Egyptians.

You're telling me they haven't invented TIME MACHINES yet? :xxd: Oh well, maybe you could find that in a mod.

So, BF1 was better?
