You pirate you.
I've got it for the PS2, and the multiplayer is lame. Everyone uses rocket launchers.

Playing with your friends is fun from time to time, but the first one was better. Wish I had just bought the first one.

The levels were far better, vehicles didn't suck, and the new heroes thing was dumb.

I like them both.In first it is cool that you can play missions with every faction.
In second missions were better but only with clones.
In second you have space battles and in first you can pilot plane but is useless(exept maybe to capture enemy base from behind).
Hero idea is cool but to much.So just turn off heroes and there is no problem.

ah...battlefront 2... i was so godlike at that game.
i used to use rocket launchers, just to use their mines, but i quit using them. I realized the true power was in the sniper rifle and the blaster.
I once got 60 kills in one life with the blaster as a storm trooper online on the death star map. After i got the elite rifle, killing other people was easy.

My friends and I used to play the first battlefront for hours.
The second one was sweet. If you went to the custom maps setting dealy (you know the playlist thing) on Hoth set it on the gamemode hunt and play as a whompa. Its a blast, you can get like 200 kills on hard easy. And the Jedi battle on Tattoine was awesome. Darth Maul Owns, I tore my friends up, most of them wouldn't even play me XD

To bad I got creamed in multiplayer, how does that always happen?

Ah BF2 on the Ps2, good times, good times..

I did kinda played Multiplayer, and yes everyone used rocket launchers there. But I didn't, they thought I sucked, but I was king of the hill (or space) anyway with my gun.

I was also an awesome pilot in space.

Oh and, don't go sniper class on a console, ever. You need to aim correctly, which is hard on a console. Snipe only when you use a computer.

BF1 isn't that great of a game, but it's still better than the second one.

Yes, the graphics are better, yes it has a campaign (not really). However, the fighting just sucks. The new units make everything a little unbalanced, and as soon as heroes come into the fight, you're basically fucked. Heroes can't fight against each other without just spamming attacks, and since Darth Maul is the fastest, spamming attacks works the best with him, thus, he's the most overpowered hero in the game.

Space battles are neat too, though, I'd been waiting for something like that for a long time.

Basically, if they do a Battlefront 3, they should get it right. Take the best parts of the first and second and amalgamate it into the third to create something perfect.

Hope that they will listen.
But it is not that hard to kill hero. Those who played BF2 surly have been in Jedy Academy.
You have to kill all those jedies and to complete other tasks.Heroes are just rally strong units. They can die unlike in BF1.

As stated before, taking out heroes was on option, so I guess it's a moot point. And to tell the truth, I was surprised that they managed to pull it off as well as they did, I thought it was going to be even worse.

The levels and vehicles were the biggest problem I had, the new levels sucked hardcore. I have no idea why they didn't just include the old ones! Doesn't seem like they used a different engine.

the maps were too small for the vehicles. Like the speeders moved too fast, and you could never use any of the starfighters to particular advantage, just spinning around in tight circles so you don't get raped in an explosion caused by accidental desertion.

I liked the second game's maps just because they were more expansive, in the vehicle maps anyway. If you didn't want vehicles, you played a smaller map, simple as that. But with the first one, they all had vehicles, and it was basically all bad.

That's true. Too bad the vehicles suck in BF2.

The first one had some awesome maps though. The one icy place with two large bases, one get's vehicles and the other gets a bunch of turrets. It was a little unbalanced, but that made it fun offline since it was a challenge. The naboo beach (I think it was called that) where one team gets a base, and the other gets vehicles.

Why BF2 vehicles suck?They look fine to me.(beside AT-AT)
I didn't say they looked bad, I said they suck, ie. they can be killed with a pistol. Like the AT-ATs at Hoth, can be killed by turrets and snow speeders. In the first one, you actually feared them.

One man should not be able to kill a vehicle. I don't care if it's realistic, it's not fun.

So you say vehicle can't kill guy with rockets?
It is not that easy with rockets to destroy vehicles. You need at least two guys and they can be killed easy.
Critical hits much? I don't play online, so maybe players can live in vehicles, but honestly, this is PS2, one of the worst online consoles.
