I am working on a map that has Nature fighting against human foresters. Since the kingdom needs to expand a company is sent to a forest to take its wood. Nature has to defend, using trees, animals, and creatures it fights the humans to stay alive. I need feedback on the map, the map I think is close to being done, if you could give me feedback and tells me errors that would be awesome! I also will take ideas for the map. Also, I would like to know how to add a cover picture to your map, like when you click on the map in the map section it shows a picture and not the mini map.

Interesting premise, but... where are the gold mines? The humans at least should be harvesting gold (or maybe something like stone) if you don't want to make the forest use gold. Having the forest use lumber only as a resource would work but might unbalance the game.

You should also try and have some better ways of harvesting trees (goblin shredder, maybe?) because going by peasants alone would take a loooooong time. And maybe give the humans and forest peeps a way to make use of all that lumber, like utility spells that cost lumber instead of mana. (Maybe the forest faction can regrow trees at the cost of lumber?)

As for detecting when trees die, I'm not entirely sure how to achieve that. There should be a script out there that does just that, so you simply have to use a variable that has the maximum number of trees on the map as it's value, and each time a tree dies, minus 1 (if you have a regrowth mechanic, increase the value whenever trees are regrown). When it reaches 0, or the forest folks are wiped out, humans win.

Ask around the trigger forums for that tree detection script. Someone should have an answer for you.
