Spells and Systems

I know it has been discussed indirectly for some time now, but let's make it straight. Do we need to have them in the same place? I find them cluttering and unorganized.

The only hard part about separating would be the act of splitting the section. Would you and @KILLCIDE be able to go through it all?

It would be a difficult task though feasible for me, but I want to hear what others opinion about as well before getting that far. Splitting it w/o community opinion is kinda not democratic.

Difficult indeed but I'd agree with splitting it because I also find them messy and quite annoying most of the time whenever I'm looking for spells.

Is a poll needed to get public opinion? Cause I don't want to get such a tedious work answered with disappointment if majority of community disagrees after the split executed.

I believe this was discussed in Hive 1, but Im not sure what the opinion was at the time. Regardless, Im already working on updating the tags for all the approved submissions, so I think it would be a waste of time to seperate them when you can just use the filter. However, if a majority of the community would prefer that, I see no reason to go against it.

I don't see why people would oppose it unless it's hard to make a clean cut, which I think it is not.

I would agree, since there is a "System" tag on systems it cannot be that hard to mass move.

it would be easy enough for me to write a java program to sort the different links into different groups

I would be willing to help but I have yet to check if the hive allows a computer to log on and use its site.
