soul drops

so i'm new to the game and i was curious where do the soulds drop, after i left the first place you start at i havent got a single one at level 19 . im playing version 2 d5. help?

It drops from everywhere. I remember looting 1 at the 1st zone (started playing ver 2 d5 also). Bosses from dungeon has a higher chance of dropping souls.
