I want to play DOTA at home without the presence of internet but the problem was I can't play it., I've downloaded maps of Dota but when I try to create a game I can't see any player list.,

Try downloading the AI verison maybe?

my friend told me too that I need to download an AI version., can anyone suggest where I can get those maps with AI file extension.,

Ah yes, I have played a few of those AI maps and while the AI makes the classic AI mistakes, it does do quite well.

In the map, there is however, a hero that does exceptionally well compared to the others, seems like they coded a module specific for him, making him quite the pain, beware ^^..
