[General] Some people crash when they try to play my map? But it works for everyone else

There's two guys I know that always crash on the starting screen when they try to play my game. But I've played it with 30 other people and they've never had any problems.

What could be causing the problem?

Is it because I used newgen world editor?

it can be due the war3.exe version. make sure they are playing an updated version (some players still use 1.24)
I'm sure that there is some local configuration on war3.exe that needs to be updated for each new map.
Some widgetized maps make strange behaviours in your running war3.exe.

Try shortening the map file name. There is a path limit and the install path can vary from installation to installation.

What are their graphic settings at? Have them set it to high if it's not. There are some maps that won't load if graphic settings aren't high (immediately I think of Infected Zombies).

This bug is related to blp compression. Some imported resources use textures with a compression type that damages these textures in order to save filesize (by removing mipmaps). These textures will cause a crash if the texture setting isn't on high.
