Imported trees are the bomb! You should use them.

Not bad, good tile variation, and decent doodad placement. The hill in the background is flat, give it dimension. You need to use a fog, in case you don't know, it's under scenario - map options. The water doesn't match the sky and rain. It looks like a dark stormy night/day, but the water looks like it's a sunny day. Also that color of water is awful for any terrain.

It's up to the creator where they want their terrain at. The town is near edge cus all will be is just repetitive water, and behind inn and trees, all there would be is a few more trees covering the rest of the map up.

i appreciate suggestions and positive comments, but not bs comments when it's 100% personaly opinionated.

In that space where it would be more "repetitive water and trees" you could put something interesting. When you post your terrain here on the terrain forum you're subject to criticism. If you don't want to undergo the scorn of public opinion then don't post.

The athmosphere on the first one is quite alright, but you can see the egde of the world and it's a bad use of the trees. I mean, they're floating.
Set the far Z way higher, the second just looks terrible with the sky cutting off half the picture.

The good tile variation and decent doodad placing is what makes both pictures bearable. Fix your camera, escpecially the Far Z, and you'll be alright.
