so do imported sounds leak or not?

i remember a while ago someone saying that they do leak, but if you destroy them then they wont play again

this is what i currently use
  • Sonido - Play explosion <gen> at 100.00% volume, located at DPoint[31] with Z offset 0.00
pls tell me everything you know about sound and leaks, thx

<gen> indicates that this sound was created via the Sound Editor. Simply playing it won't leak anything but you can only play the file once at a time then, not simultaneously. For this, you would have to create different sound instances and usually organize them dynamically. GUI does not even offer this option though.
