SMS donation idea

Well, my idea is really simple, though probably incredibly hard to implement, I have no idea. So basically I suggest an option to be able to donate cash to help the cause of the Hive with the use of the cellphone SMS function. So anyone can donate in their own currency and Ralle can change it to whatever currency he wishes to, if this is possible. This would be a good idea for people who wants to donate, but does not own a credit card. So, opinions etc, is this possible?

I know there has been made a free downloadable vB mod for this, so it should not be that hard to implement.

Easy to implament but.. Like.. Who would use it?
Other than people who donate regular. And they dont seem to have trouble with it.

Well if it is easy to implement, why shouldn't it be done, even if it'd only make 5$ / month, that's more than nothing, eh?

I think it's an epic idea. It would give a chance to people who don't have a bank account (don't wanna list examples)

Exactly my point, I believe that the Hive could benefit greatly from it, but I may be wrong, even though I think i'm not.

The Hiveworkshop has a lot of minors who say they would donate if they could, however this is most likely just a bullshit excuse for not doing it, but for a few people it might actually be true.

Well, true that if its free, and only makes little, it should make no harm, to have it.

It is a long time ago I found this mod, but I think it's made so it gives the money to a paypall account and thus it shouldn't make a difference from where in the world you are doing this, as long as you got a service on your phone that allows for such transactions (it would be like buying games over the phone).

I think so. Haven't tested system out or anything, I was just going to check it out and implement it on one of my own sites which never really got anywhere.

This is a really good idea, I'll continue my normal donating ways but this will help lots of other people to donate
