Simple SAVE/LOAD Request

I'm looking for a simple SAVE/LOAD system that will only do the following things:
-heros exp
-deaths
-player name so you cant copy someone elses

if someone could make it for me possibly or show me an easy to understand turtorial thatd be great

this seems cool but a little complex for what i need, how would i customize it? if im able to..

You tried opening it up? And a system which saves levels, experience, and items is going to be quite complicated.
