When reading this topic you may be wondering, what is an auto-refresh?

Well I will evaluate on this very simply... An auto refresh is a tool downloaded across the internet which allows for your game to appear in the "Custom game" list. When a player enters this area they will notice a small button at the top of the screen with two arrows rotating clockwise. This is the refresh button which gives an updated list of what games are available when clicked. And auto-refresh will allow the game to show up on the screen without the player needing to click the refresh button. Traditionally hosts of games will close and open all the slots of a game to refresh it. However this is obsolete and requires a waste of time (not to mention it gets boring refreshing it).

Setting up the auto-refresh

First click here, to view the website which allows you to download the refresher: Undead Assault 2 - Warcraft 3 Auto Refresher Download

FOR ANYBODY WHO IS CONFUSED THEIR AUTO-REFRESH WON'T WORK READ THE REQUIREMENTS! YOU NEED MICROSOFT NET. FRAMEWORK 1.1 IN ORDER FOR THE AUTO-REFRESH TO OPEN ONCE THE DOWNLOAD IS COMPLETE!

So as said above download the wc3autorefresh.exe (173KB) - self-extractor from the website and install it completely. If you have Microsoft Net. Framework 1.1 then the refresher should open! If you aren't sure if you have it or not but an error occurs saying it failed to initialize then you don't have Microsoft Net. Framework 1.1! People this is simple stuff and it should not be hard to do. Get Microsoft Net. Framework 1.1 by googling it and clicking on the first link to the left.

Now that we have all that is needed open the program. You can modify the amount of time per refresh interval. Make sure the port number (default 6112) matches the port numbers you used when you forwarded your routers. Click on file, Name options. And check it out! You can make names in color to! So go on figure it all out, experiment, and from this point you should be good to go.
