Secondary model file (like metamorphis)

how do i make say the jaina model use metamorphis (custom) turn ehr into a ifnernal WITHOUT JASS and rpeferably with no triggers. Please tell me. sowwy for bad typing!

Very simple. Change the model of the unit it becomes (Illidan (Metamorphis) unit for example) to the model you want. I can look exactly what it says, hold on.

Edit: Yeah, just make a copy of Jaina, name it Jaina (Metamorphosis), and change the model of it. Then just go to your Metamorphosis spell and change Data - Alternate Form Unit to Jaina (Metamorphosis).

Jeah I got the same idea - but if I use the ability then - she will die * . *

And btw - as I understand - she should morphed into an Infernal - not into the Demon

ok it doesnt work i dont udnerstand make a copy of jaina you mean amke a copy of jainas model or a new custom unit? i am so oncfused plz be more specific. step to step plz

1. Copy your Jaina unit.
2. Paste it as Jaina (Metamorphosis).
3. Change the model of Jaina (Metamorphosis) to whatever you like, an Infernal, for example.
4. Go to your Metamorphosis spell, and change the value Data - Alternate Form Unit to Jaina (Metamorhposis)

make sure to set the time taken to the right levels.

as what i learnt the hard way if you set the duration thing for (was that hero or unit?) to the wrong level your unit will stay idle for the time set which i presume is how long the metamorphosis spell will take on your hero..

Also make sure you change the infernals damage and shit so its actually better.

What I did was this...

1) made a copy of the real metamorphasis unit
2) changed name and model and all that customized stuffs
3) changed the alternate form to the newer metamorph

this is a long, but almost guaranteed way to make it work. Still needs delay and such
